what i have been up to recently
I've been gone from the blog (mostly). Some impressions of what I have been up to during:
- wrote 3 of my 6 data protection certificate exams :) not graded yet.
- went to France with my wife and two friends for a few days to a little cabin in the woods with no WiFi. We saw lots of little lizards and beetles, and visited the MĂ©morial du Linge.
- also visited the butterfly garden in Ribeauvillé! One fresh out of the cocoon landed on my dress, the other landed on my head and checked out my butterfly clips.
- played Boule, Scythe, Mansions of Madness, Settlers of Cataan, Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards, and lots of EDH/Commander MtG. I gifted my wife the Eldrazi Incursion precon she wanted for a while, she ended up gifting me the Disa Precon. Also played some decks built by a friend; one with Arabella as commander, one with Ranar. Won with Ranar and with Disa.
- finished reading Sophie's World and Chromophobia, started reading The Left Hand of Darkness.
- changed my balcony furniture because my mother wanted to get rid of hers.
- got a new wig :)
(I may have to put the leg rest in the basement...)
